Afghanistan Cricket Board has named its national squad for the three-match T20I series against India in Delhi.
A new full-time captain
Ibrahim Zadran will lead Afghanistan in his first assignment as the team’s full-time T20I captain. The board also confirmed the return of fast bowler Naveen-ul-Haq following injury.
Series dates remain unchanged
The three matches remain scheduled for 13, 15 and 17 September 2026 at Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in New Delhi. The official squad announcement does not publish start times.
